For users with a valid pcmet subscription<\/a> by the German Met Office DWD (Deutscher Wetterdienst), additional commands are available. You have to pass your pcmet credentials to the bot once where they are stored securely under your user account and used for all data retrieval on the DWD site.<\/p>\n

  • time (current time is default, with STEP the available times can be displayed and then chosen)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The standard chart shows cloud distribution and an alternative chart temperatures instead. Apart from the default surface level, forecasts are available for FL050, FL100 and FL180 respectively. The available forecast times are identified by a step counter for which there is an overview function.<\/p>\n

        DWD CROSS<\/h1>\n

        Access a cross section forecast along a pre-defined flight route. DWD renders vertical route forecasts using their high resolution model for a few European routes. Each route connects a series of airports identified by their ICAO ID.<\/p>\n

        The list of available routes can be displayed with the MAP option.<\/p>\n

        \"\"<\/p>\n

        Sections are either identified through an ICAO airport ID they include or in case there are multiple routes passing by an airport, the airport ICAO ID followed by a number. In case you specify an airport and there are multiple routes, a list with the number is displayed.<\/p>\n

        \"\"<\/p>\n

        If no time step is specified, the next available forecast is taken. When choosing a cross section, you can display all available steps.<\/p>\n
